The low voltage panel will be powered by a low voltage voltage generator or transformer with a voltage of 230/400 volts. (The initial voltage of transformers is usually 6 kV, 11 kV or 20 kV.)
These panels have equipment for disconnection, control, measurement, protection and adjustment, and are basically for controlling electrical equipment with a voltage of 400 volts, three-phase and 230 volts single-phase.The low pressure switchboard includes the motor starter, motor control center (MCC), input circuit breaker, bus coupler, output consumers and fuse switch and accessories, all of which are included in the Show a Single Line Diagram.
The input power switches must be normally closed if there is more than one. The power switches between the two bus bars can be closed or open depending on the situation. If it is open, it should be closed automatically when one of the input keys is opened.
The operation of the interface key will be selected based on the conditions and logic of the project, which must be approved by the client, and will be mentioned in the single-line diagram and data sheet related to the panel. The schematic of protection and communication and interlocking between the input keys and the interface between the two bus bars with the upstream keys must be considered. It should be noted that the single-line diagram usually shows only the main components of the low pressure panel. Schematic of control, protection and measurement, wiring drawings and related tables will be attached to the one-line diagram if necessary.
